There’s no doubt that the hot rod hobby has a wide variety of builds and budgets out there. You will see everything from concours restorations to one-of-a -kind customs, and the type of transmission you need for your build is no exception to this rule. Bowler Performance Transmissions is proud to announce the release of their new line of transmissions for the DIY and budget builders called the Tru-Street series. We’ve based the new Tru-Street series on the demands for a budget friendly price point with a no-compromises build. The Tru-Street series is aimed at the builder who is using a stock to slightly modified engine and doesn’t need all the bells and whistles that a highly modified transmission contains. The Tru-Street series is a fully re-manufactured transmission that has been completely worked over and built with top quality components by one of our master technicians. This isn’t just another rebuilt transmission from the guy up the street. Depending on model, each transmission has received all available updates & upgrades, as well as, all new OEM solenoids. It is then dyno tested and ready for you to install. You get all the Bowler Performance quality you’ve heard about at a competitive price. We’ve designed the Tru-Street series to be a more “a la carte” set up compared to our other performance packages, so with the Tru-Street series you purchase only the parts and components you need. Starting with just a transmission and torque converter you simply add on the extras you want to create the perfect package for your project.
Every effort is made to ensure the highest standards are met when assembling all of our transmissions. Blue printing and vacuum testing valve bodies is one of the most commonly ignored procedures in a "rebuild" due to the time and tools it takes to perform. Bowler Performance takes the time to get it right or it doesn't leave our shop.
Whether you need just a transmission and torque converter or an entire conversion package we will take the time to ensure you have everything you need and build your Tru-Street package accordingly.
