Pro Comp is constantly adding applications to our long list of suspension systems in an effort to provide our customers with the best product regardless of what brand truck they drive, what lift height they desire, or what budget they are operating in. Pro Comp’s latest offerings are 4-inch suspension systems for the 2007-15 Chevy Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500 and 2007-15 Toyota Tundra. Both systems are FMVSS 126-compliant and integrate seamlessly with the factory electronic stability control systems and allow fitment of 33-inch tall tires.
The foundation of each of these Pro Comp suspension systems is a heavy duty one-piece crossmember and CNC-machined knuckles that work in conjunction with strut spacers that retain the factory struts to maintain the OE ride quality and handling. The rear suspension is raised to match the front ride height with lift blocks, new u-bolts, and nitrogen charged Pro Comp ES9000 shock absorbers. As you have come to expect from Pro Comp, all necessary bracketry and hardware is included with every suspension system.
Own a late model Ford or Ram half ton truck? Don’t feel left out; Pro Comp will be introducing 4-inch suspension systems for these trucks in the near future. Like all Pro Comp products, each kit is covered by the Pro Comp Promise Lifetime Warranty. These suspension systems also qualify for the Pro Comp Lift Shield 5 year/60,000 mile powertrain warranty at no additional cost when installed by a Pro Comp Authorized Installer. Washington, DC, May 21, 2018 - More than 110 representatives from the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) descended on the nation’s capital to participate in SEMA’s 2018 Washington Rally on Wednesday, May 16. Industry leaders stormed the halls of Congress to remind lawmakers of the cultural and economic importance of the automotive specialty equipment industry and motorsports.
During the event, SEMA members urged Congress to pass H.R. 350/S.203, the Recognizing the Protection of Motorsports (RPM) Act. The bipartisan bill would protect Americans’ right to modify street vehicles into dedicated racecars and industry’s right to sell the parts that enable racers to compete. The RPM Act now has 145 cosponsors in the House and 38 cosponsors in the Senate, and the number continues to grow. Members also raised awareness for other issues facing the specialty equipment industry, including harmful tariffs, preventing higher ethanol content in gasoline and saving the Bonneville Salt Flats.
"I thank the SEMA members who took valuable time away from their businesses to fight for the issues that matter most to our industry, including the RPM Act," said SEMA Chairman of the Board Wade Kawasaki. "This year’s turnout makes one thing certain-our industry is committed to getting the RPM Act across the finish line in 2018. Passage of this bipartisan bill is the only way to ensure it is legal to modify a street vehicle into a racecar used exclusively at the track, now and into the future. It’s time for Congress to act. We urge Members of the House and Senate to pass the RPM Act and protect motorsports for generations to come."
This year’s event, which was one of the largest SEMA rallies to date, marks the 15th time representatives from SEMA have held a fly-in on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. The event raises SEMA’s profile in our nation’s capital and plays a pivotal role in the association’s advocacy efforts.
